The staff of Opentrackers should remove this advertisement from the site and ban any mention of the tracker completely in the future. The user-class requirements for the most popular content are such, that it can only be accessed after donating a certain amount of cash. This is by far the most restrictive requirement of any tracker I know of and it is a long way from the fair and reasonable incentive other trackers offer to donators. Frankly, if I wanted to (or could afford to) spend real money, I would do so by financing the content creators directly.

Signup closed already. But they sound as bad as the other pay2leech sport site. They are real scumbags, stealing form others then reselling it to you. They don’t deserve anyone’s money. Public trackers now have almost all NBA games. And many private general trackers get NBA scene releases. So, no need to help these guys make 30,000 dollars per month!

While many who posted here have not/can not express themselves in an educated way, their claims are true.

I joined this tracker long ago. At first it looked good. Then, they began adding restrictions to create a delay in accessing new content, unless you paid for special status. Then a large percentage of content became totally inaccessible without paying an extremely high price to access content. As many have said, it would cost less to purchase a league pass than pay these cappers, especially if you are focused on one sport.

Many of them come from the old way of making money from these games. They would upload their caps to file hosting sites and post the links on forum pages. They earned money for the number of people downloading from their links. In fact, to maximize their profits, they would divide an NBA game into 4 parts (quarters) to require you to download each file separately. But, they became even more greedy. I have not used their tracker in years. But even back then they were asking for $80 or more to access the content they themselves stole.

Sportscult is a very decent tracker, though the majority of their content is brought in from elsewhere (other private trackers). At least they treat people in a friendly manner, when they infrequently communicate. Do not expect them to respond to messages often, either PM or in the forums.

720pier is the source of plenty of content, but some of the least friendly admins/staff. Many of their staff/cappers came from rutracker, but split off after disagreements with how things were managed there. They also seem to occasionally purge their roles of members who have not donated.

rutracker consistently offers content for free, and it is a semi-public tracker. Though, some of their content is exclusively in Russian, including some of their sports caps. So, it can be hit or miss with games.

Almost all trackers and cappers involved in this business are based out of Russia, for some reason. Even though one of the sites is hosted in China. It is notable in their written english.

Unlike the past, sport content is not found much on public trackers. So, you will have to pick your poison.

You can also search out and use live streaming sites, using adblock to deal with their heavy use of distracting advertising.

Of all the options available today, SportHD is guilty of the worst abuses. While it is run as a tracker, there is a clear pay to play format. It is not related to the old sharing traditions which form the foundation of most trackers. Do not expect timely access to useful content without paying.

If you feel like paying for your content, you are better off giving it to the original content creators.
