I understand the need for money and think some form of premium advantage makes sense. However:
* Please make it more clear upfront what the options of a free user are. At least write it into the FAQ
* Do you get enough seeders if free users are not allowed to download? I would suggest a cap like only X downloads per month if the user is free
If you are a free user you can only use the forums and upload stuff. You cant download anything.
On the forums the staff sometimes gives a free month to people who contribute a lot to the community, but you cant do much if you arent a donor, so those rewards tend to pretty much go to people who are already donors.
Uploading stuff while you are a free user isnt a good idea, as you require to reseed from the generated torrent after the upload is done, which you cant do as a free member, otherwise wrong stats are reported and you will get the banhammer pretty fast.

I used to belong to FUB. Is this the same site? Did it change ownership? Found this while seeking what happened to FUB. I loved FUB. Came back to it a couple of years later and it was gone. This site will take some getting used to.
