I’m sorry but I just can’t stand their layouts with comic sans bold fonts and the abomination of colors, it’s hard on the eyes and makes the browsing an unpleasant experience.
Other than that, everything seems to be OK.

There are something like 30 themes to choose from, I don;t care much for the default one. The plain default and star trek themes are my favorite :)

i believe i paid $20 or $25 dollars….i can copy and paste it from paypal and show you if you would like…..is there a way i can pay again to reopen my account….it said when i donate i didnt have to keep my ratio up….thats why im really confused….

The comments above about emails not being sent should all be resolved now! Also any yahoo accounts should be working too! We’ve drastically over done our email sending server and switched some things around and with all of our tests of the ‘big 3’ email providers, yahoo, microsoft and google, all emails made it. Yahoo might be sent to a spam folder. Any questions please join our IRC, there’s links in the review above!

For those that sent in a registration before they closed, I’d advise a little more patience.
I’ve found the staff there to be extremely friendly and helpful; but just as important, very concerned with security, and making the use of the site as pleasant as possible for all members.
This sometimes means a longer, more careful process.
I believe Mr. Angry up there has demonstrated the importance of this.

Ohh. I did the same. :( Registered with yahoo, raed that yahoo is no good and and since the delay of the authorization emails…….. registered with gmail also. Ehm. Who can i contact to delete the yahoo registered account? Or will it be just fine if i authorize just the one gmail acount and leave the yahoo one to expire. I hope I am not in trouble already :I…..

I didn’t go to sleep, and i’m awake for about 40 hours still waiting for confirmation … ya better send it to me.
we’ve hit a limit in the amount of emails we could send a day using the new email provider, and are working with them to increase that limit. I’ve went ahead and confirmed all pending user accounts by hand. Again if you need help join our IRC and we can help on a one on one basis. Sorry again for any troubles this has caused!

After 6 months of no new signups, we did lots of work on the backend of the site and IRC. Fixed almost all of the issues we have had in the past and now are working on new things. Such as a TV Tonight list that will update buttons for SD and HD as the shows are uploaded. We have also implemented an IRC bonus system to spur activity in our IRC server.

This is what annoys me, private trackers on here trying to get new users, but they cant even be bothered to check that their signup system works, no confirmation email, won’t be bothering with this one again
This is what annoys me; users complain about things not working but wont put in the effort of sending an email to support@thecafe.com so we would know exactly what was wrong, and could fix it in the future.
On another note, of the 400 to 500 new users we had, we only had 20 that were unconfirmed and had to be done manually. These accounts were either doubles or using some off the wall and unknown email provider.
Sheeyit, the user agreement is longer than the Bible. Somewhere in there they probably reserve the right to pound nails through your dick. Pass, I’ll stick with TPB and Demonoid.

I love the user agreement. Why bother? Seriously. It shows a complete lack of understanding of the law. It’s like 13 year old kids playing Lawyers and Judges.
Sign up everyone… any user agreement on a torrent site, especially this contradictory child’s nonsense, is as useful and binding as a politician’s promise.

It’s because the way we purge the inactive users, it doesn’t purge the banned. The total users count that’s shown also doesn’t count banned users.

I have been a member here for over a year. This is a very good site. They have RSS and a announce/Pre irc server for you autodl-irssi/script users. This is a required feature in my opinion. The releases are not as fast as other trackers and my share ratio is below 5 here; versus 10-20 ratio on other trackers. (I don’t over seed, 1.1-1.5 max). The do have a nice list of most shows for the current day on the side bar. Most torrents are unrared. This is a boon for some, a hindrance for me and others. (Makes cross seeding a pita and most subtitles are tossed away with the rars).
They have a weekly torrent and a torrent of the month that is free leech
and 2x upload. However, recently the weekly torrent and monthly torrent rarely change as scheduled. They also have a bonus point system to buy upload credit and other things.
I do not use the social features, so I can not comment on them. (shout/chat box and forum).
I give this tracker an 8/10

This website says it is “shutdown”, but no post says anything else and like the other post above I can also find nothing on the internet about if their coming back or not. Given they were having DNS problems with people logging in, I am inclined to think the site is down for a software issue. However, I would not rule out an issue with FACT or other entity.
Look at the date of the shutdown above- it’s an old one. I think some site somewhere would mention an announcement if the copyright nazis forced it…
