Â³ Â³ Â³ Â³ PS5 Release Standards v1.0 2021 Â³ Â³ÃEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEÂ´ Â³ Â³ Â³ 1) Packing: Â³ Â³ 1.1) Releases must be packed in RAR. SFV and NFO must be included. Â³ Â³ 1.2) Rars must be in multiples of 50.000.000 bytes but no larger than Â³ Â³ 1.000.000.000 bytes. Â³ Â³ 1.3) Rars must be RAR5 compressed with fastest or better. Â³ Â³ 1.4) Password protected archives are not allowed. Â³ Â³ Â³ Â³ 2) NFO: Â³ Â³ 2.1) The release must include a .NFO. The file must be a plain-text Â³ Â³ document and at least include the name of the title. Â³ Â³ 2.2) NFO must include GAMEID and version. Â³ Â³ 2.3) The firmware version in ISO must be included in the nfo. Â³ Â³ 2.4) The required firmware must be included in the nfo for PSN Titles. Â³ Â³ 2.5) Patchlevel/Installed updates must be included in the nfo. Â³ Â³ Â³ Â³ 3) Image format: Â³ Â³ 3.1) ISO Image format for Discs. Â³ Â³ 3.2) PKG Format releases for PSN Titles, Updates and DLC. Â³ Â³ Â³ Â³ 4) Proof: Â³ Â³ 4.1) The groups are to include a proof picture with disc. Â³ Â³ 4.2) You have 48 hours AFTER NUKE to release a Prooffix. Â³ Â³ After this 48 hours grace period, any other group is allowed to Â³ Â³ release a PROPER with scans/photos. Â³ Â³ 4.3) Proof picture can be scanned and must be in JPEG format. Â³ Â³ 4.4) Proof picture must not be blurry. Disc/Cart Code must be clearly Â³ Â³ visible. Â³ Â³ 4.5) If the medium or cover/booklet contain anything that may expose Â³ Â³ your identity, then that part of the image can be blurred or Â³ Â³ blackened. Additional scans may be added but these DO NOT count Â³ Â³ as sufficient proof! Â³ Â³ 4.6) PSN releases will be exempt from proof requirements as they are Â³ Â³ downloadable. Â³ Â³ Â³ Â³ NOTE: We STRONGLY recommend the removal of all Exif data! Uniquely Â³ Â³ identifying information such as the camera serial number and GPS Â³ Â³ coordinates can pose a security threat if not removed. Â³ Â³ Use tools such as jhead, PureJPG, EXIF Cleaner... Â³ Â³ Â³ Â³ 5) Updates Patches DLC: Â³ Â³ 5.1) Updates/DLC for releases must be in PKG format. Â³ Â³ 5.2) Update/patch/DLC must say in nfo what release it is intended for. Â³ Â³ 5.3) If Update/patch/DLC is for an iNTERNAL release, Â³ Â³ Update/patch/DLC must be tagged iNTERNAL too. Â³ Â³ 6.3) If a game is re-released for having additional foreign languages Â³ Â³ the release must be tagged as MULTI and the nfo must specify Â³ Â³ which additional languages are included. Â³ Â³ Â³ Â³ 7) Other: Â³ Â³ 7.1) The dirname must only contain the game name, allowed tags, Â³ Â³ platform name and groupname. Â³ Â³ 7.2) Homebrew software, emulators will not be released unless its Â³ Â³ official retail or from PSN. Â³ Â³ 7.3) Virtual Reality releases must be tagged 'VR'. Â³ Â³ 7.4) If the release is an unlocker or trainer compatible with more than Â³ Â³ one version/update of a game, the highest compatible version number Â³ Â³ must be included in the dirname. Â³ Â³ 7.5) PSN PKG's must be the PS5 build version, not PS4.
